Villa Luna is the ideal choice for families with young children because the interior (unlike many Bali villas) is totally enclosed, meaning the little ones can be kept safely away from the pool at night. During the day, however, the numerous glass doors can be opened merging the tropical outdoors with the rest of the house. A combination of air conditioning and ceiling fans cool all the interior areas and the atmosphere of the house with its high ceilings is enticingly cool, light bright and airy.

Entered through an imposing wooden door, guests immediately alight upon an elegantly decorated living area. Deep, comfortable cream sofas invite you to take the weight off, settle back and spend an evening with the latest blockbuster. Enclosed by glass walls and kept separate from the dining/ kitchen this gives a sense of complete light and space.

The kitchen has a black marble breakfast bar and is furnished with all the modern conveniences you would expect including a large double fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, hob, and oven. Configured to be the sociable hub of the house this is a great space to hang out in even if no actual cooking is taking place. As well as the breakfast bar there is a large 6 seater dining table so even if you are dishing up from takeaway cartons your dining experience is sure to feel sophisticated.

Visible and accessible through the floor to ceiling windows which wrap around this side of the villa is the generous private pool area. This is complete with wooden decking, loungers and a further sofa set in a covered nook. Of course, this charming outdoor area is the place that the all families gravitate too and spend the majority of their time. Additionally, at one end of the pool is a small air-conditioned office which can be utilised by the adults. High-speed Wifi is available throughout.

Set down the labyrinth of quiet streets adjacent to Jalan Plawa, this villa is close to the central shopping street of the area which runs from Seminyak to Legian. All along this strip are an endless variety of excellent boutique style shops, outlet stores, market style shops and plenty of spas. Bintang supermarket, one of the largest supermarkets in Bali, is also close at hand.

Restaurants of note nearby include SIP an upmarket French bistro, Fat Gajah for amazing dumplings, Bo & Bun a tiny Vietnamese eatery, the Queen’s Tandoor which is probably the finest Indian cuisine on the island and Warung Ocha for delicious local fare. There are always new places opening along this strip, too numerous to count, and awaiting your taste buds to do the exploring. Also, the beach is about a 15-minute walk away and it is quite simply a Bali ‘must’ to partake in at least one of the legendary sunsets that bless this stretch of coast.
