Cheapest eat in Canggu

Visiting Canggu? Traveling on a budget? Searching for authentic dining? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then you’re in the right place. In this blog, I will share with you my experience with the ‘Arboon Warung & Bar’ and hopefully inspire you to check them out aswell.

Bali’s kitchen offers a unique dining experience. Eating out while I’m here never fails to excite me before each and every meal. While paying a little extra will likely provide you with a more sophisticated experience, there are many restaurants on the cheaper side of the price spectrum which are also worth checking out.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love fine dining just as much as the next guy, however, I shamelessly admit that dining in cheaper venues can offer something which the more lavish competitors often cannot provide – a local authentic feel. Something about street food style eating draws me in – Allows me to really appreciate that I’m in Asia.

One of my favorite restaurants in Canggu is the ‘Arboon Warung & Bar’, located a convenient 4-minute walk from Fins Beach, it is the perfect place to refuel after a tiring day on the beach.

Although some meals may have run out, the rich selection of dishes on the menu is sure to have something to suit all taste buds. The cheapest dish on offer – the Nasi Goreng, will provide you with a basic marinated rice, vegetables, and fried egg on top for only 15k IDR. That’s only about £0.85p at the time of writing. Wow that’s cheap. It can’t get any better than that for backpackers traveling on a budget.

All the menu items are awesome and taste exceptionally well, and they also provide chill and ketchup sauce to add additional flavours if needed. The staff are super friendly and make amazing smoothies too.

Only draw-back of the Arboon Warung & Bar is that you can expect to wait a fair amount of time before your meal arrives. But hey, you can’t have everything I guess. Plus, why not upload you’re latest adventures on Instagram as there is free wifi on the premises. Or make use of Bali’s social atmosphere and spark a conversation with the table next to you. Who knows, you might just meet your next best friend.
